How to prepare for a Liver / Gallbladder Flush

The main area of focus for a successful and safe Liver / Gallbladder flush is the preparation, and the environment you create for yourself during the actual flush.

Without this basic preparation, or the right environment, it is not recommended to take part in a Liver / Gallbladder flush randomly.

It is usually done at a retreat where the environment is conductively set up for such a cleanse.
It can be done in the comfort of your own home, once you have prepared thoroughly, and with little to no disturbances, other duties to take care of, stresses, travel, etc.

The deeper you allow the Body and Mind to relax, the Parasympathetic nervous system will kick in, which allows the digestive and elimination organs to deeply relax and purge their waste more effectively, allowing for a deeper flush of those organs.

The 2 main points of preperation to be aware of, is a Veggie / Vegan diet for 4 weeks prior to the actual flush, at the same time a gradual but full cleanse of the bowel, by means of colonics.

2 weekly colonics for the 4 weeks leading up to the flush, and 1 immediately after, is the bare minimum needed whilst making dietary / lifestyle adjustments.

If the Colon and Small Intestines are not thoroughly cleaned, the Liver / Gallbladder will not dump its waste effectively, the toxins / waste / stones it does dump, will likely be re-absorbed through the intestines.

1 week prior to the actual flush, it is recommended to freshly juice and drink 6 -12 apples daily.
You can add a small piece of freshly juiced ginger to the Apple Juice to make it more palatable, and reduce the chanced of feeling nausea, which the apples juice can bring up.
You can also add carrots and celery to the apple juice, allowing the Liver to further relax, and dump its waste. It probably will also make the juice more palatable.

You can supplement with Malic Acid, or store bought Apple Juice, but it is not necessary or the same as freshly made juice the moment you will consume it. We personally have found the apple variety called Braeburn to be the most effective for this flush.

Supplementing for 1 - 2 weeks prior to the flush, with a Herb called Chanca Piedra (Stonebreaker) is highly recommended.
This will help break down any larger stones to more easily pass through the digestive system.

Supplementing with a Herbal Parasite Formula for 1 - 2 weeks after your flush, is also highly recommended.

Our next blog will cover the actual flush protocol, with a short video on the steps to take.
